Menai Straits Heritage Sailing is a Charity that promotes Health and Wellbeing through sailing

Menai Straits Heritage Sailing is a registered Heritage and wellbeing charity based in Beaumaris, Ynys Mon. Our two key objectives are to preserve a heritage fleet of sailing yachts and offer an opportunity at no charge for residents of Ynys Mon to come sailing and/or join us in the hub to work on boats.

We know from our own experience that sailing in the magnificent Menai Straits promotes health and wellbeing. We would like to promote these Health and Wellbeing benefits and offer our services to groups, organisations, charities and individuals in our local community.

We also offer access to our hub where people can join in and learn about the heritage fleet, help us restore boats, gain new skills or share some of the skills you already have. Even if it is just company and a chat, the hub offers a warm welcome to all. We are an inclusive charity that works with a diverse community. We support Health and Wellbeing through our hub and our sailing, we actively promote social inclusion and community cohesion through outdoor activities.
