Epilepsy Wales exists to support adults and children with epilepsy, their families and carers. We provide epilepsy related information, such as information about different types of seizures, how epilepsy affects individuals, how to reduce risks, employment, travel, first aid and benefits. Epilepsy Wales provides services within the community including coffee mornings, walk and talk groups and outreach support. We provide epilepsy and rescue medication training throughout Wales to local authorities, health and social care workers, learning disability teams, mental health agencies, schools, and colleges. Epilepsy Wales' main aims are to make people with epilepsy feel less isolated, feel more confident and feel that they are able manage their condition. We raise awareness and understanding about epilepsy and the issues that surround the condition.
